First Day of Travel

I got up early (5:00 a.m.) this morning, put my laptop in its bag, and Vicky drove me to Lindbergh Field. As usual, the line for security at Terminal 2 was backed up on the sky bridge almost to the parking lot.

Fortunately, I was early and had plenty of time. The Sky Caps checking baggage at the curb were quick, and I didn't have to pay $15, since I'm traveling internationally.

The flight from San Diego to Salt Lake City was nice and boring, just the way I like them. I got a good start on my new Java book. I took pictures of the plane (a little Canada Regional Jet) and put them on Flickr
